What others say about Hari Śakti?

The contact and conversations with Hari Śakti keep inspiring and empowering me. She walks her spiritual path with such groundedness, love, and compassion. She continues to go her own way, finding her own spaces and walking her own path.
I don’t feel I belong to any specific institution, but I do feel deeply spiritual. Seeing how wonderfully Hari Śakti balances her own path within an institution – speaking up for herself and creating spaces to shine her light in the world – is truly empowering.
The way she embodies and integrates the human experience of the soul within the body, infusing it with spirituality, feels so aligning. I am tired of the spiritual teachings that neglect human life and fail to honour it. I’m grateful to learn from her how to bring spirituality into daily life in a practical way, as a human being with attachments and feelings, and how to integrate it rather than deny it.
I now see that I can live a normal life in society and offer my work and actions to God. This feels like a huge shift for me.

I first met Hari Śakti in the year 2019 as an enthusiastic Yogi, lover of street animals, and a deeply inspired Bhakti Yogi. Like her Guru, she also has had an exciting life journey, from a very young age taking her to different countries, experiencing variety of cultures, learning from diverse wisdom traditions, all along walking her own evolutionary spiritual path from being an atheist, a Buddhist, a Hatha Yogi, finally evolving into a Bhakti Yogi – sharing her deep realisations through the Soul Flow.
Over the years, I have witnessed her meticulously curate Bhakti Yoga Rishikesh with great care, sensitivity, and genuine devotion to share the gifts of Bhakti tradition, under the guidance of her spiritual teacher and mentors. At the same time, with sincere detachment, she has moved on creating space for herself, and others, and silently start all over again to create something still better and inclusive for her diverse audience. That’s real Śakti-power, as it’s not easy for a lone western woman in India to establish something from scratch and then move on to a new place to start all over again.
In Hari Śakti one can see a rare combination of determination, boldness, resourcefulness, humility, sensitivity, courage, insightfulness, creativity, and resilience. I’m sure that Soul Flow with Hari Śakti will be a refreshing oasis for genuine spiritual seekers, who will benefit much from her maturity, wisdom and embodied devotion.

Haribol
Dear Hari Śakti, it brings me so much joy to read about all that you’re creating — it truly feels like an offering born from lifetimes of devotion, wisdom, and soul alchemy.
We first met in Rishikesh, and I was immediately touched by your calming presence and the way you made everyone feel seen, welcome, and safe. You hold space with such grace — both deeply professional and deeply devotional at the same time. Whether it's through guiding a practice, sharing stories, or even cooking prasadam, your love and intention flow through every detail.
You’re a rare soul who dares to bridge ancient wisdom with modern understanding. Bold, grounded, and authentic — you’re not just sharing teachings, you’re living them. Your years in India have given you a rare depth of cultural understanding, and you carry that knowledge with so much respect and humility.
Soul Flow with Hari Śakti feels like exactly the kind of space this world needs — a sanctuary for seekers of truth, tradition, and realness. I'm honored to witness your journey.

I first met Hari Śakti in Rishikesh in mid-2022, and from the beginning there was a natural and deep connection between us – one that transcended the differences in our spiritual paths. I come from a Buddhist tradition, and she walks the Bhakti path, yet our values and intentions harmonized beautifully. We would often spend hours in conversation about life and how to live it well.
Hari Śakti has been a true inspiration to me. Her commitment to living a virtuous and purposeful life is evident in everything she does. She carries herself with sincerity, humility, and open-heartedness that uplifts everyone around her.
Watching how she serves others so selflessly – simply by being who she has become – has inspired me deeply in living the kind of life I aspire to. I’m grateful our paths crossed. She’s a rare human. Always sending blessings.

Dear Hari Śakti,
When I moved to Levi, Lapland, almost 10 years ago, I left my yoga community in the southern Finland behind and was afraid I wouldn’t find anything like it in Lapland. Then I booked a yoga class at Levi Wellness Club and found you teaching there.
Coming from an Ashtanga background, I continued Ashtanga with you and also joined your other yoga classes and offerings, such as vegetarian evenings. I came to know how deeply you had studied yoga, and through our conversations I learned you had lived in India many times. I had already been to India twice myself, and was drawn to the true roots of yoga and its philosophy.
Years later, when you permanently moved to India, to Rishikesh, I joined the Bhagavad Gita online course you and Hare Krsna Das offered. We studied the book carefully, chapter by chapter, and for almost two years we met every Sunday. During that time we also became friends – sharing long calls outside the course, through ups and downs, about everything imaginable.
You are truly an amazing teacher. You know what you’re talking about, and you explain things so that the listener really understands. You make the complexities of yoga philosophy accessible, even simple. You are warm, profound, sensitive, and wonderful – as a person and as a teacher, with solid professional skill. Thank you for letting me get to know you.

I first met Ms. Hari Śakti during the yoga sessions she was teaching and panel discussion on spirituality and mental health she participated in as a panellist, at the Y20 event, part of the G20 India summit, in the holy city of Rishikesh. I was deeply moved by her simplicity, authenticity, and unwavering passion for yoga, spirituality, and her commitment to learning and giving back to society.
As I got to know her better, I discovered her remarkable journey – from her early days as an athlete and skier to her travels across continents. What truly stands out is her fearless spirit, her ability to embrace people from diverse backgrounds, and her open-hearted acceptance of local cultures.
Her spiritual path, interwoven with her varied professional roles, is a powerful reflection of her courage and devotion to the Divine. She has truly lived a saintly life, and it shines through in her every action and interaction.

I have been very fortunate to cross paths with Hari Śakti. She is truly an amazing person and a yoga teacher. I've really enjoyed learning yoga with her and have felt a much-needed positive shift in my life. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills.
Hari Śakti has given me many mindfulness tips and helped me cope with stress in daily life through our online yoga studies. When I lost my mother, she was there to offer me emotional support. She is a lovely soul and a life coach, and I wish nothing but the best for her. May she continue to touch many lives and enrich their journeys with the energy of Yoga. Thank you for being there for me.

Hari Śakti, your coaching is indeed spiritually guided. You're very unique, and you've touched my soul with your work. You have a warm heart, and the way you speak is encouraging - making me feel as if I'm being led toward something meaningful. You've made me feel good in a way that's new and deeply uplifting. Your contagious smile, along with your skill and dedication to your work, made it a thrilling experience to learn the science of yoga with you.

Dear Hari Śakti,
I want to take a moment to thank you from the heart for all that you have been to me on this path of bhakti. You are my second connection within our tradition; my journey started with online Bhagavad Gita studies with you and Hare Krsna Das. You have been not only a dear friend but also an important śikṣā-guru — one who has shared inspiration, wisdom, and support whenever it has been needed.
You have been a light and an example to me of what it truly means to serve Kṛṣṇa with sincerity and devotion. Your dedication and gentle heart have inspired me deeply.
Thank you for walking beside me, for listening, guiding, and sharing the journey. My prayer is that we may continue to serve Kṛṣṇa together, as friends and as support to one another. I’m so excited to travel to India for the first time ever this year, for the trip you’ve arranged.
Thank you.
With love and gratitude,

Hari Śakti is an amazing teacher – soft, attentive, and friendly. I had the privilege of attending her Yin Yoga classes in Rishikesh while I was pregnant in 2021, and I truly appreciated her gentle approach and beautiful energy. Even in my second trimester, the classes felt accessible and supportive. Hari Śakti helped me adapt each asana to my needs, offering an individual approach to every student.
I loved the mantras she played during class, and I especially appreciated her bhakti-infused way of teaching – a depth and devotion I had never experienced in yoga before. It brought an entirely new dimension to the practice. I would highly recommend her not only as a skilled professional but also as a spiritual guide. Since we first met, we’ve remained friends, and I am deeply grateful to the Universe for this connection.

I met Hari Śakti in 2018 at the Levi Ski School, Lapland, where her warm and present teaching style, with its genuine focus on each person, immediately caught my attention. She was also teaching yoga at Kuru Yoga (Levi Wellness Club) every evening, and I was encouraged to try her classes.
Yoga was a completely new experience for me – both exciting and a little intimidating, as my stiffness embarrassed me at first. But in Hari Śakti’s classes, I felt completely at ease. She created an atmosphere where differences in ability didn’t matter, and everyone felt welcome. Her classes quickly became a highlight at the end of each skiing day. The only challenge was that her sessions were so popular you had to arrive early to secure a spot.
Hari Śakti radiates warmth, acceptance, and deep understanding in this chaotic life. Her skills, attitude, and ability to share her gifts with others are truly exceptional. Since those first meetings, we’ve remained friends, even met in India, and I’ve gained a great deal of values and insight from her over the years. The depth of her wisdom continues to have a positive impact on my life – far beyond the yoga mat where our connection began. Thank you for enriching my journey and inspiring me to remain rooted in what matters.

I have practiced yoga with Hari Śakti in Levi, Lapland. The classes have had different aspects of yoga and yoga philosophy. The combination of all her knowledge of theory, experience, and physical practice has been one of a kind in Lapland, and I’ve learned a lot and found a welcoming place to learn and practise – both spiritually and physically.
Hari Śakti introduced me to a study group where we have read, learned, and discussed the Bhagavad Gita During our study group, we’ve discussed everyday life examples and found reasons and connections to the Gita’s teachings. We have lived through losses together and received support and understanding.
Hari Śakti has profound knowledge and a clear way of teaching, combined with an easy-to-connect personality. Her guidance through her classes helps you evolve in your practice. Her yoga classes have also introduced me to mantras, pranayama, and the wholesome truth that is yoga – bringing me to whole new dimensions.
We are all love. Kiitos!

Hari Śakti Devī, it’s a joy to know you.
What strikes me most is your discipline and resilience in spiritual practice, despite life’s obstacles. As a Westerner, your deep interest in Bhakti Yoga and the way you have dived so fully into it is truly inspiring for us Indians.
I also admire your sunny, open nature. When you share your life experiences, many can relate to them, and the way you handle everything with such grace – rooted in your Bhakti practice – becomes a teaching for us on how to navigate life’s twists and turns with a strong spiritual foundation.
Your tireless ability to inspire and bring new aspirants along the path is remarkable. And, of course, your glorious prasādam! You always create such vibrant and delectable spreads that look heavenly and make the taste buds tingle. I am sure that one day I will be a very happy and well-satiated beneficiary.
Shine bright, dear girl, in all your future endeavors. May Kṛṣṇa bless you abundantly.

Hari Śakti has a beautiful way of expressing the true essence of devotion within her teachings. She truly listens and understands the bridge between Eastern and Western philosophy. Hari Śakti’s classes are peaceful, relaxing yet powerful in the structure of sequence, and what needs to be released from the body.
I truly feel a deep devotion, understanding, and welcoming every time I have participated in the programs she facilitates. The wisdom I receive truly bridges the ancient teachings of Bhagavad Gita and modern way of living. I look forward to joining future events and classes with Hari Śakti. I am forever grateful for all the support!
